Two Cat Studio trades in remarkable true vintage for all genders, all sizes. All items are carefully chosen with an eye toward quality, wearability, and affordability.
Vintage items listed on Etsy once a week as possible with Rochester's in-person market season. Please follow @twocatstudio on IG for the most up-to-date information. (Please note: as of November 2022 this has been much less frequent due to moving from ATX to ROC, but as of May 2024 should be ramping back up!)
If I wouldn't wear it, I won't sell it. Always, always, always. What that means is:
Natural and/or breathable materials always come first. All materials listed from tags or to the best of my knowledge. All items are preloved and all will show some signs of wear or age. Flaws are carefully noted. Please contact me if there is an oversight!
Real talk: most vintage items carry some funk, so EVERY garment Two Cat sells is washed in an eco-friendly detergent, air-or line-dried, and steamed for wrinkles as needed. Deadstock items are noted as such, washed to remove odors, and carefully retagged. I strongly suggest that you always wash in cold and line/air dry with a mesh bag (Target stocks a great sweater bag for $4! And Conair has a $20 steamer at BBB that is exactly what I use.)
Where appropriate and possible, shoulder pads are removed and noted in description. I will include them if requested and in good shape. However, the goal of sustainable rewear is rewear, and the three-inch foam monstrosities of the eighties and nineties are rarely rewearable. There are absolutely exceptions to this rule and they will be noted.
Closed-toe shoes will always be leather or canvas.
If you have any questions about an item, its care, or its quality, please ask!
